I have been following @SlipInSurfSkins on Instagram for a while now and love their beautiful ocean and yoga photos and what definitely caught my eye was the striking one piece outfits so I was extremely pleased to model a couple and share some photos of my own. They have a variety of different styles: SurfSkins, GymSkins, SurfSkins Minis, Capris/Leggings and something for the men – DudeSkins. I love that there is a variety of bright, bold and colourful patterns to choose from, they have a SPF 60+ to protect you from the sun and are perfect for both land and water sports. SlipIns are all about fashion, function, and fun. They are made from a stretchy, silky soft fabric and fitted me like a glove so were super flattering and being a one piece there is no worry about tops riding up or bottoms slipping down, thus allowing me to stretch, twist and invert completely unrestricted AND they are not see through, even when wet! Living inland and in the UK I wasn’t going in the water if I could help it! Instead I opted to remain on dry land and wanted to capture some water based activity in the background so first we headed to the rowing lake where typically there wasn’t a single rower to be seen that day! We did get a few ducks at least. I’m wearing the Simplicity Spotted Cat GymSkin. We decided to change location for my second outfit in hopes of finding more activity so went for a short drive to Rutland Water. Again not much activity going on but I love how the photos have come out with the blue colour of the sky and lake and the golden sands making it hard to believe these were taken in the UK just 15 minutes from home. I’m wearing the Synergy Tribal GymSkin. I particularly love the cut out back detail on this one. We couldn’t not capture the stunning Normanton Church – spot the yogi :) www.slipins.com

Earlier this month I took part in Alp-n-Rock’s Influencer day to coincide with their sale on their Yoga/Studio collection. Unfortunately this sale has now finished but you can still get 20% off their whole website with discount code INSTA20CAROLINE Check out their website here: www.alpnrock.com And the Yoga/Studio collection here: www.alpnrock.com/collections/studio-style What I particularly like about their collection is as well as being great for yoga the clothes look just as good for everyday wear. For my photo I wanted to really capture an image that represented Alp-n-Rock. Unfortunately the Alps and Rockies were too far away ;) so the search was on for some ‘rocks’ closer to home and Hunstanton with its distinctive striped cliffs looked like the perfect choice. When we got there the weather was good (always a risk when shooting in the UK is the unpredictable British weather) and just as we were about to start shooting the sun went behind the clouds creating a perfect soft box lighting. The colour of the rocks couldn’t have been a better match for my outfit – Alpine Retreat Racerback Tank and Alpine Retreat Yoga Pant. As well as using the rocks and cliffs as a backdrop we wanted to get a variety of photos so went up onto the top of the cliffs and along to Old Hunstanton where we used the remains and archway of St Edmund’s Chapel as a prop for my handstands and balances and the old lighthouse made an interesting feature in the background. I’m not one to miss an opportunity to hollowback handstand against pretty much anything I can so on the way back we got one last quick set of photos against the stone stairs up from the beach. Back to the clothing – I love that you can put together complete sets with both tops and pants available in all of the various styles and they all have really great designs many of which have yoga inspired names, e.g Karma, Lotus and Namaste, and I also love the contrasting stitching which is a really nice detail.
Finally as well as having some awesome clothing Alp-n-Rock donates up to 10% of profits to fund scholarships to girls in developing countries and have sent over 152 girls to school, providing them with the lifelong gift of an education. I've teamed up with three amazing yogis @auri_yoga, @healthyfitsam and @laurenleeyoga to host my second Instagram Yoga Challenge #HeartOpeningSeptember and I'd love for all my friends and followers to join in. We will be hosting 25 days of heart opening and back bending yoga poses and will be giving variations for all levels and advice on how to do each pose so even if you've never done yoga before you can take part.
We have lots of awesome prizes from our generous sponsors @hipwidth, @secretyogi, @breakin_a_sweat, @thepaprikashop, @dharmabumsactive, @letsstartyoga and a brand new mystery sponsor. Full details of how to take part are on Instagram @carolineanne92 Have you heard about Moonchild Yoga Wear? I hadn’t until a couple of days ago. Moonchild Yoga Wear is a new international activewear brand designed in Denmark. The designs are both fashionable, being inspired by the colours and lights of Scandinavian nature, and eco-friendly, they’re made in the EU with certified environmental friendly Italian fabrics. The collection is perfect for yoga. There is a choice of leggings or shorts and all of the designs have matching tops. I love it when I can put together a matching set. I also really like that there is also a choice of one pieces, growing up as a gymnast I definitely like a leotard. These one pieces are low cut (almost a short) so are much more wearable than a standard leotard and also have a pretty V-neck and wrap style front. The tie-dye leggings and one pieces have ‘peace’ or ‘moon’ symbols which are another nice little detail. I love the strappy cross over back on the bra style top, as I’m sure I’ve mentioned before I have a thing for strappy back details, and it also has a flattering ruching to the centre front. This collection looks amazing and I’m really looking forward to seeing it for myself and getting my hands on a few pieces, watch this space :)

I have been a model/ambassador for My Mantra Active for a while now having modelled their first yoga leggings collection. A couple of months ago I took a pair of their 'Ganges' leggings to Hunstanton for the day and got some great photos so I'm super excited that one of these appears in this month's UK Women's Health magazine. Check out my blog and interview with My Mantra Active to find out a bit about me and to celebrate the success of My Mantra Active. My blog/interview for My Mantra Active I can't wait to see the next range from My Mantra Active and fingers crossed for lots more yoga and modelling fun as with such amazing colours and designs in the first collection I'm sure the 'Mantra' family will continue to grow with even more amazing leggings to come.
