A few weeks ago I did a preview of the new Moonchild Yoga Wear collection so I was really pleased to receive a few pieces and see them for myself and now I love the collection even more. I started off wearing the ‘Stay Grounded’ one piece and took some photos at home, warming up before heading out. I love the peachy colour of this design and the moon print on the back is a lovely detail and perfect, particularly considering these were taken on the day of the supermoon eclipse. I like that the design is within the material, not a foil print etc. The front is equally as pretty with a wrap over style which creates a lovely V-neckline. Being fairly tall (5’8”) I often worry about one pieces being too short in the body but this fitted like a glove and the material feels silky soft like a second skin. My second outfit was the ‘New Elements’ set. I love the ombre effect of the leggings (which also feature the same moon design to the back of the calves as the one piece above) and the bra tops can be mix and matched or layered up (if you look closely you’ll see I’m also wearing the ‘Stay Grounded’ bra as a double layer). The biggest surprise for me was the ‘Wild Child’ ditsy floral print set which when I initially reviewed the collection was probably my least favourite design but after seeing it for real I think it has become my favourite. It has a real vintage, Cath Kidston feel to it and is completely different to any prints I have seen on yoga gear before. The best bit is the complete Moonchild Yoga Wear collection is available from one of my favourite online yoga shops www.goyogi.dk

Two weeks ago I went down to London for a photo shoot with Tom Miles aka @photosmudger The basic idea was to shoot lots of flexible poses, and keep the lighting and mood quite dark, with just a little hint of "sexy". I think we achieved the brief and I certainly love the photos - take a look at a few of my favourites below and see the full set here: Flexibility Shoot with Tom Miles Photographer: Tom Miles
